Abstract

The Mahalanobis–Taguchi System (MTS) is a multivariate diagnostic and projection method. Mahalanobis Distance (MD) is a calculation based on associations that can be defined and analysed for the base or the reference group between the variables and trends. Because of the reliability of prevision with limited, clustered data sets, the MTS is of interest. This is the form of data with commercial vehicle scores. This study focuses on control of the production line for the manufacture of rubber products. A collection of parameters is optimized by MTS, by defining the appropriate parameter impacting the quality of the product to boost product quality in production line management. The goal of this study is to reduce workplace dependency, to monitor progress in inventories due to quality problems and, in the meantime, to improve product quality.
