The antenna array elements have information about the direction of the incoming signal. The direction of arrival is used on the radar system as regards the direction of the source of the signal towards the receiver. The estimates were made to compare the performance of the MUSIC-USV (Multiple Signal Classification–Universal Steering Vector) and ESPRIT (Estimation of Signal Parameter via Rotational Invariance Technique) algorithms on uniform linear array antennas. In this study, an estimate was made of the impact on the angle of arrival, the number of samples (L), and the SNR input. In this article, MUSIC-USV and ESPRIT algorithm was implemented in MATLAB. The results are the spectral value of each angle, the highest of MUSIC-USV spectrum value to be used. MUSIC-USV method described an estimate error result close to zero on almost all of the arrival angles, with the exception of 1° arrival angle which is 6% and 180° which is 0.01%. In the ESPRIT method, the very large error occurs at an angle of 1° with 125.3%. The concluded that the accuracy of MUSIC–USV is better than ESPRIT for the case of different angle differences.
