Abstract

The research is about an overview of robotic technologies towards effectiveness of operation in Malaysia manufacturing company. Currently, the manufacturing industry is moving from mass production to customized production. Robotics technology is an main element in IR4.0, which gives vast capabilities in the manufacturing field. Industrial robots are important figures in "Industry 4.0." By using this technology, automation systems can be improved and perform repetitive tasks precisely at a better cost. Robotic technology is currently leading to produce quality product and also maintaining the value of the operation. In this era, it is helpful to carry out a complicated unsafe job, automation, sustain high temperature, running entire time and for a protracted length in assembly strains. Many robots running in sensible factories use synthetic intelligence to carry out high-stage responsibilities. Now they also can decide and research from experience in numerous ongoing conditions. The main contribution of this paper is better understanding on topics such as the robotics elements that helps productivity effectiveness and robotic potential that can be applied in manufacturing firms in Malaysia. The analysis was executed via bibliometric and text mapping tools namely NVivo. Based on the finding, Malaysians able to understand the overview of robotic technologies towards industrial revolution 4.0 and analyse potential of robotic technologies in Malaysia that gives advantages in manufacturing system.
