Abstract

Temperature distribution of nanofluids has been investigated experimentally using thermography method and it is shown that suspended small amount of Al2O3 nanoparticles into distilled water were capable of lowering surface temperature of cylindrical enclosure. Also, for low concentration of nanoparticle, homogenising is the most preferable equipment used to produce homogenous and stable nanofluid. However, deterioration result was observed at high volume concentration.
