Gamification and emotional development are new approaches with great integration in psychotherapy. This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the Art Design Kit Games as an intervention during the mentor-mentee program. This is a qualitative research design (action research). This study uses an electroencephalography machine (EEG) with 16 electrodes to measure alpha brain waves. Moreover, MATLAB software was also used to analyze the data descriptively, and the interview technique was used to obtain more data. Results from the study show dynamic alpha wave responses to the Art Design Kit (FC1, FC3, C3 and C4 electrode). Alpha wave amplitudes exhibit rhythmic patterns, reflecting cognitive and emotional states. Descriptive analysis demonstrates changes in alpha amplitudes as indicators of emotional and cognitive engagement, for the mean and median data set FC1 exhibit (.0000/-.0224), FC2 (-.0001/-.0386), C3 (.0011/-.0256) & C4 (.0000/-.0616) from 2 to 6 minutes and FC1 (.0022/.0609) with C3 (-.0014/.0355) from 7 to 8 minutes. The study underscores the potential integration of gamification and EEG technology for psychotherapeutic interventions, offering insights into alpha wave modulation and its implications for emotional and cognitive well-being.
