Abstract

In weapons there is the name recoil system, recoil system is a recoil force that occurs when a bullet is fired from a weapon there is an action-reaction law, the action-reaction law states that any force exerted by an object on another object will produce an equal and opposite force from the object. In the weapon recoil system related to the Mass-Spring-Damper system because the recoil system requires a spring and also a damper so that when the bullet is fired, the force released is effective and also stable, in this paper describes 2 systems in recoil, namely, the blowback system and also the Gas-Operated system on the 9mm Automatic pistol and also on the AK47 Riffle weapon.
